I don't get it. Why should I feel bad when an inmate here dies or leaves? We're all dead anyway and most of them come back. We don't have meaningful lives and it's not like we were good people. I mean, I'm sorry, don't get me wrong.. I like some of the inmates here, but half of them are lost in ignorance.. and ignorance is bliss, so I guess I would be happy if I were them too. But why should I care if they leave? I guess I just don't see the point in crying over a dead inmate when they probably didn't even fear dying anyway.

'Cause their here for the same reason as you and when they leave, means that they ain't gettin' that chance.

This is a tangent universe anyway. If they leave, they might just be going back to the primary universe or to a different universe. It's not like we know where people go when they leave. Maybe they're going someplace better.

You understand being dead though, right? It just means that if I went back to where I came from and lived instead of dying, other people I care about would die. Any time death is changed and manipulated into life, other people are manipulated into death.
